Fresh from playing Reading and Leeds Festival this weekend, Reading-based quartet The Amazons have announced details to release their debut EP ‘Don’t You Wanna’, leading with huge new track ‘Junk Food Forever’ which we cannot get enough of!

‘Junk Food Forever’ has the makings of a huge guitar anthem. Packed full of hooks, the track kicks in with thunderous beats, with vocalist Matt Thomson’s lyrics complemented by an anthemic chorus guitar riff that promises to stay with you for days. The track has already generated excitement across music media, receiving support from Annie Mac, Huw Stephens, and Jo Goods’ Shock of the New, as well as a featured slot on XFM’s ‘Songs of The Week’.

Announcing their arrival to a growing fan base with first demo ‘Something in the Water’ last year, The Amazons kicked off 2015 by supporting The Kooks throughout Germany and will close the year with a headline tour of the UK, including a date at Oporto, Leeds, on 8th October and Sound Control Bar, Manchester, on 10th October.

The EP is due for release on 9th October on their own label, Goth Cruise Records. Check out ‘Junk Food Forever’ below:
