One thing’s for sure, Pretty Vicious have certainly made an impact on the alternative music scene, even for a band who only formed last year. The young four-piece from Merthyr Tydfil in Wales, have already completed a UK tour, supported Manic Street Preachers and headlined the BBC Introducing Stage at Glastonbury this year, and the summer sees them embark on their second UK tour and hitting the stages at Leeds and Reading Festival. A bright future is ahead!

Their new single, ‘National Plastics’, is four and a half minutes of pure rock bliss. Thrashing guitars and vocals driven by teenage angst lead the track into a storming finale. It’s pure uninterrupted, addictive noise from start to finish. Whoever said rock was dead?!

The track will be released on Virgin EMI on September 18th.
