Keyes is an 18-year old singer-songwriter from Warwickshire. If you are a fan of alternative synth pop with urban elements thrown in, this is one for you!

This month Keyes releases her new track ‘Black Magic’, the follow up to her May debut, ‘Veins’, which has now amassed a cumulative 250,000 plays. ‘Black Magic’ takes Keyes’ polished pop to dizzying new heights. Built around Jade Keywood’s glossy R&B-leaning hook, ‘Black Magic’ is punctuated by fizzing synth motifs, thumping percussion and sleek bass.

Even with only two tracks under her belt Keyes has already spent time topping the Hype Machine chart, lighting up the airwaves on both sides of the Atlantic with BBC Introducing and KCRW spot plays, and picking up comparisons to Lorde, Broods, and Jessie Ware.

Produced once more by Sam Winfield (Fickle Friends, Amber Run), who will also help bring her sparkling recordings to life for the first time on her TBA live debut this autumn, ‘Black Magic’ is out now! Check the track out below.
