D.I.D – ‘Fast Food’
Posted on August 11, 2015
Nottingham’s D.I.D (Dog is Dead) have this week released a video for their brand new single ‘Fast Food’.
‘Fast Food’ is the long-awaited new track from the band, due for release on September 18th. Once again the band deliver an upbeat, quirky alt-indie track with jangly instrumental and infectious vocals wrapped around a catchy pop melody.
The video was shot using stop-animation, the filming process involved the band having to lie on their backs with various cold fast foods being put through their mouths, and holding it there for up to an hour in order to get the shot. It’s pretty gross, check it out here.
The release of the video also coincides with the announcement of a UK headline tour. Kicking off at the end of October, the guys will play seven dates across the country – the band’s first full-length UK tour since 2013, which included sell-out shows at London’s KOKO and Nottingham’s Rock City.
You can catch the band playing at Fibbers, York on October 31st and Picture House, Sheffield, on November 4th.
